Engaged Couples

Helping couples navigate engagement is the cornerstone of Not Easily Broken Ministries. Our name comes from Ecclesiastes 4:12b, a famous passage of Scripture often applied specifically to marriages - "A cord of three strands is not easily broken." And there is certainly never a bad time to ensure that you and your significant other are tightly wound with the third cord, the Spirit of God. But maybe the best time is at the very beginning. Not Easily Broken is here to help you with that. We want to see couples at the beginning of their journey start off as well prepared as they possibly can.

Married Couples

In addition to our premarital work, we also offer spiritual guidance and mentoring to couples who are already married. You may have been married for a couple months, a couple years, or twenty years - there's never a bad time to seek out another couple to help you think through what's happening in your relationship today. Carly and Paul offer a session-by-session service for married couples. Generally speaking, couples who are already married come to us with a specific issue or set of issues they'd like to address.  In either case, rest assured that we will absolutely be of whatever help we can.

Training

While we relish every opportunity to work with couples and families directly, we also recognize that there's only so much that we can accomplish in our small midwestern town without training others. Whether it's in a church setting, a business environment, a school, youth retreat, conference, or anywhere else, it's our privilege to be able to travel to you. We want to bring you the techniques and resources we use in our own work to help you minister to the community in which God has placed you. Let's wrap up relationships all over the world in three-stranded cords.
